Women of OSM: Georgia Demetriou

With a seafarer as a father, for as long as she can remember, Georgia Demetriou always knew she wanted to work in the maritime Industry.

Holding an LLM in International Maritime Law and being a specialist with 10 years of expertise in shipping, commercial and corporate law, Georgia joined OSM Maritime Group in 2015. She immediately realized that in OSM, it is truly all about people and found it very interesting that the company’s values are so well integrated in the operations and the culture of the organization. These values are the reason why she joined OSM, and she has chosen to stay.

Through hard work and dedication, Georgia has been notably recognized as one of the top legal practitioners, resulting in being listed for two consecutive years in Legal 500 GC Powerlist with the most innovative and outstanding individual in-house lawyers in Greece and Cyprus!
