The OSM-AD Foundation would like to share its most recent charity work related to the improvement of lives in Filipino communities. It is essential to mention that such actions, at the same time, promote sustainability.
OSM Foundation installed 5 solar energy sets, in 5 isolated and typhoon-affected communities in Southern Leyte Province in the Philippines this June. The solar energy sets enable teachers from far-flung communities to produce educational modules for students despite the severe effect of the destructive Typhoon Odette last December that left communities having no access to electricity even these days.
This is the second batch of OSM School Solar Energy Project under OSM Foundation’s Initiatives for Social Development Program. The first batch was launched last March that benefitted 3 schools that were also affected by the same typhoon.
