The inauguration of our new, second Nordic Medical Clinic in Cebu, the Philippines, took place earlier this month. It’s a 300sqm clinic, located on the main road along the port area of Cebu. With this new branch, we bring the healthcare services closer to the homes of the seafarers in the Visayas and Mindanao regions of the Philippines. It’s also a synergistic strategy with the OSM Cebu Office located in the same building.
The clinic’s capacity is up to 50 PEME per day. Adult vaccination and COVID testing services will also be set up in due course.
Our customers will be informed once we are allowed to do full-scale PEME operations. Currently working on crucial accreditations from the Department of Health, ISO, Flag states and P&I clubs. We intend to have all accreditations that NMC Manila has.
Initially, we can do PEME for:
- Bahamas
- Denmark/DIS
- Hong Kong
- Isle of Man
- Liberia
- Malta
- Marshall Islands
- Singapore
- St. Kitts and Nevis
- Petronas
- Oil and Gas UK
The other accreditations such as NIS, Skuld, Netherlands and Panama would need additional time to obtain approval.
