In our quest to being industry leaders in technical and crew management, we are excited to announce the further strengthening of our leadership team OSM Maritime.
Our aim is to have as few layers of management as possible, and to stay close to our customers and our teams on board and ashore.
Tommy Olofsen will assume the role of Chairman of OSM Maritime on a full-time basis. Tommy will in his new role, in addition to his current responsibilities, be responsible for strategic development, business relations and have a special focus on preserving and developing the OSM DNA and our core values. Tommy will continue to be based in Arendal, Norway.
Bjoern Sprotte will be appointed CEO of OSM Maritime and be overall in charge of all day-to-day operations of the Group. Bjoern will be responsible for maintaining and developing common performance standards and systems throughout OSM. He will continue to be based in Singapore.
OSM founder and majority shareholder Bjørn Tore Larsen will no longer be operationally in charge of OSM Maritime but will continue as Chairman and CEO of Optimum Maritime Holding, our maritime services holding company. Bjørn Tore is also the chairman of our sister company OSM Aviation.
With these changes, we are strengthening our focus on providing excellent services to our customers and partners through best in class operations in ship management and crew management.
