Enhancements Services

Vessel Performance Management
OSM Thome has taken part in many green initiatives involving alternative fuels and new technologies. As a partner in the Green Shipping Programme (GSP), we support sustainable logistics solutions. Our work here cuts emissions profitably, creates green jobs, boosts competitiveness and exports, and strengthens our international standing. The goal: reduce emissions and grow green competitiveness across the maritime industry. Under GSP, OSM Thome has owned two projects: converting a container feeder to methanol and extending its life, and a feasibility study on advanced nuclear power for ships.
OSM Thome is also a member of NuProShip (Nuclear Propulsion of Merchant Ships), a nuclear research project run by NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) with support from the Norwegian Government. OSM Thome also takes part in the Nuclear Energy Maritime Organization (NEMO).
In 2016, OSM Thome managed the first methanol-powered vessel, working with Marinvest and DNV. Together, the partners helped write the methanol safety regulations.

Vessel Regulatory Compliance
EVIGO provides full compliance services in DCS (Data Collection System), MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification), ETS (Emissions Trading System), and FuelEU Maritime. These services help your vessels meet all regulatory requirements and international standards. Our specialist team offers end-to-end support — from data collection and analysis to timely reporting and documentation. This support helps you navigate complex compliance rules with ease. With EVIGO’s expertise, you can stay ahead of new regulations, cut your environmental footprint, and boost your fleet’s efficiency, all while meeting the highest standards of environmental responsibility.
EVIGO helps clients comply with the IMO’s emissions reduction strategies, including the Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) and CII. Our tailored solutions track and assess vessel performance against carbon intensity targets. This helps shipping operators optimize their operations while meeting strict environmental standards. EVIGO also tracks changing EU maritime rules, so fleets meet strict requirements for emissions control and reporting — including the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and the EU Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) regulations.
EVIGO’s complete approach gives clients the tools and strategies to do more than just comply. Clients can lead the industry in sustainability, and help cut global greenhouse gas emissions to build a greener maritime sector.

Technical Advisory and Consultancy Services
EVIGO gives clients detailed energy excellence reports, EEXI (Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index) calculations, and EET (Energy Efficiency Technologies) assessments. This support helps clients navigate complex maritime regulations and new technologies. These tailored reports give vessel operators clear insight into their fleet’s energy performance. They pinpoint areas for improvement and support decisions that boost efficiency and sustainability.
EVIGO studies your vessel data and equipment specs to recommend the best energy optimization activities and products for your ship and trade. Our recommendations aim to boost efficiency and cut fuel use, while meeting your operational goals and regulatory needs. We identify the best strategies, whether that means installing energy-saving devices, upgrading systems, or adopting digital solutions. The result: better vessel performance, lower emissions, and sustainable cost savings. With our guidance, you can make informed decisions that benefit both the environment and your bottom line.
EVIGO combines regulatory expertise with cutting-edge analytics. This helps clients stay ahead of industry trends, meet global environmental standards, and achieve operational excellence. With EVIGO’s support, maritime operators can build sustainability into their business strategy — improving both regulatory compliance and fleet performance.

Enhancements Services
EVIGO uses advanced technologies such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and Energy Efficiency Technology (EET) retrofits. These tools improve vessel performance and sustainability. CFD modeling gives precise simulations of how vessels interact with water and air resistance. This allows us to optimize hull designs, propulsion systems, and overall vessel hydrodynamics. The result: lower fuel consumption, better operational efficiency, and a smaller environmental footprint.
EVIGO also implements EET retrofits — upgrades that add cutting-edge energy-saving technologies to existing vessels. Each retrofit is tailored to a ship’s specific needs. This gives a practical path to lower emissions, meet international compliance standards, and boost energy efficiency.
EVIGO supports optimization and fuel efficiency through remote monitoring and high-frequency data analytics. We focus on key factors such as weather routing, shaft speed, vessel speed, and optimal trim and ballast, using CFD modeling. Our services include hull cleaning, strategic anchoring, and engineering solutions that boost performance and cut fuel use. We also consider CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) options and explore alternative fuels to help you meet emissions targets. With these strategies, your vessels can run at maximum efficiency — balancing sustainability with regulatory compliance.

Compliance & Culture
EVIGO aims to shape the industry with solutions that add value and drive sustainability. We are setting new standards in the maritime industry, with innovative practices that boost operational efficiency and protect the environment. Our approach covers key areas: Human Rights, Labour, Health and Safety, and Corporate Social Responsibility. We hold a strong commitment to Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, and the Transparency Act. We also build Supply Chain Governance and support People Development, to foster a responsible and ethical business. We champion Holistic Health on Board and Responsible Consumption, to support our seafarers’ well-being and cut Spills and Releases to the Environment. Through these efforts, we use cutting-edge technologies and sustainable methods to create long-term value for our stakeholders and our planet.

Industry Interaction
OSM Thome takes an active role in shaping the future of green shipping, working alongside industry bodies, research institutions, and government partners. Through programmes such as GSP, NuProShip, and NEMO, OSM Thome contributes to research and pilot projects on alternative fuels and next-generation propulsion. These partnerships help set new standards for the wider maritime industry, not just our own fleet.
