Salary Transparency Report Gains New Information

The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) has informed that companies with 100 or more employees have until March 31st to disclose the Transparency Salary and Remuneration Criteria Report. The report now includes two additional pieces of information for diversity enhancement policies. Additionally, it provides details about the proactivity criterion, addressing the lack of indication regarding the number of women hiring policies companies support. As a result, the report has been improved and is already available on the Emprega Brasil Portal.

Regarding the Law – On July 3rd, 2023, Law No. 14.611 was enacted, addressing wage and remuneration equality between men and women in the workplace, amending Article 461 of the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT). Companies with more than 100 employees must take measures to ensure this equality, including salary transparency, discrimination monitoring, complaint channels, diversity and inclusion programs, and support for women’s training. The law is an initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Employment and the Ministry of Women.
