Over the past 14 days, we had the privilege of conducting a COC (Certificate of Competency) exam Consultations session for our talented Deck Cadets at our Zadar office.
This intensive training, led by none other than our experienced DPA, Marko Ostric, was designed to provide cadets with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to excel in their careers and uphold the highest standards of maritime safety.
The program began with an inspiring introduction from our MD, Mladen Matak, who reminded the cadets of their vital role in the future of our company and the maritime industry. “This small investment from our side is a reflection of our deep appreciation for your dedication and commitment to becoming the best in the field.”

As part of our commitment to celebrating the journey of our cadets, we had the pleasure of presenting them with a thoughtful token of appreciation. At the conclusion of the 14-day COC exam preparation on Monday 16th Sep 2024, each cadet received corporate gifts as a symbol of our recognition for their hard work and dedication.
In addition to the corporate gifts, we were delighted to gift the cadets a special book authored by our own DPA and training facilitator, Marko Ostric. The book, titled “First Time As Deck Officer,” is a personal guide filled with insights, practical advice, and real-life experiences. As a seasoned maritime professional, Marko has poured his knowledge into this publication to support young officers as they embark on their careers.
