Ocean Infinity Hull 935 Keel Laying Ceremony

OSM proudly participated in the second Ocean Infinity keel laying ceremony, something that proves in actions the trust of our ship owning partners in OSM and its experienced people who constitute the New Building Supervision Department.

On the 2nd of November in Vietnam, OSM and shipowner Ocean Infinity celebrated the keel laying ceremony for the 2nd hull numbered 935, of which its construction is being supervised by OSM. The series of eight vessels are being built at VARD’s shipyard, Vard Vung Tau in Vietnam, with the first vessel expected to be delivered from mid-2022.

Designed for today’s tasks but with tomorrow’s in mind, these exceptionally fuel-efficient, onshore-controlled vessels will initially only utilise a skeleton crew onboard. In due course they will be capable of working with no personnel offshore whilst also consuming solely renewable fuel such as ammonia.

OSM wants to thank its partners for their trust and commits itself to continue to provide great service to current and future clients in the New Building Supervision sector.
